What do you really want? How do you really feel? Are your answers colored by what someone else wants or feels? What do you think your friend wants or feels? Is your answer to this latter question unduly influenced by what you want or feel? Connirae Andreas demonstrates the Aligning Perceptual Positions process, which enhances a person’s ability to see clearly from three perceptual positions – self, other, and observer – without contamination from another position or from past situations.

This video contains two training segments from the 2010 Advanced Mastery Training featuring Steve Andreas. The first training segment begins with an example of using the “prior cause” reframing pattern recursively with a client: “And that’s because. . . ?” This simple intervention can lead to a powerful shift in a client’s perspective. Even more exciting is that there are many similar interventions possible using the same simple principle of using the standard NLP reframing patterns in this recursive way.

The second segment explores the unfortunate unconscious implications hidden in the outcome, “losing weight,” which will sabotage or obstruct reaching that goal. This is followed by an exercise using these principles to examine other outcome descriptions for unhelpful implications.

Connirae Andreas shows you ideas and attitudes that make parenting easier, in contrast to the all-too-common assumptions that make parenting needlessly difficult. Discover how to create and maintain a more loving, nurturing environment for your children. Learn simple ways to solve problems, redirect your child in a positive fashion, resolve conflict between siblings, and much more!

Professionally presented by Connirae Andreas, this program formerly on two VHS tapes is now available as two .m4v video files for download, accompanied with the original supporting booklets in PDF form; Part 1 emphasizing “How to Get Results with Kids” (50:46) and Part 2 emphasizing “How to Manage Conflict and Build Positive Behavior” (52:19).

Two videos and PDF manual in a 470.8MB .zip file available for download now.

Virginia counsels Linda, a woman who holds anger and resentment toward her mother (feels her mother is too critical). Using a “tableau” (guided skit), Satir helps Linda view her parents and mother’s family of origin in a more understanding, compassionate way.

This enables the client to forgive her mother. This tape includes a follow-up interview (three years later) that shows the extensive and lasting impact of this therapeutic work. 72 minutes.

In this 40-minute video download, Steve responds to questions asked by Chris Gunn, a videographer, while on vacation in Hawaii in January 2015. Topics range from NLP and its history, to bits of purely personal biography, and sometimes a mix of the two. (All proceeds from this video goes to Chris Gunn.)

Danie Beaulieu offers a stunningly evocative array of ways to use simple objects as visual and behavioral metaphors for key aspects of a client’s problem, and then use these to work toward resolution.

Her use of her own nonverbal behavior to elicit states in clients and participants is an added bonus, and particularly useful for women who want to increase their range of expressiveness with clients.
